At Fairholme, becoming an independent learner is a priority. Form VI and VII had great fun finding out about independent learning earlier this term by interviewing staff and pupils to find out why independent learning is so important. Their findings suggested that independent learners remember learning for longer, have a better understanding and greater confidence, and can link and apply their learning more easily. This assembly video remains the most watched Fairholme video, surpassing Shakespeare and Carol Service performances —perhaps an acknowledgement to the importance of the 4 R’s on the road to Learning Independence!
